PLANTING AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS

🌱 1️⃣ Sowing Seeds:
Soak the seeds in warm water (2 parts boiling : 3 parts cold) for about 6–8 hours to soften the seed coat.
Then wrap them in a damp cloth for 2–3 days until the seeds slightly crack, then sow them.
🌿 2️⃣ Planting:
Sow seeds directly into loose, well-drained, nutrient-rich soil (mix 50% garden soil + 30% composted manure + 20% rice husk ash).
Keep the soil moist but avoid waterlogging.
When seedlings reach 20–25 cm tall with 4–5 true leaves, transplant them into the ground or larger pots.
Plant in a sunny, well-ventilated area with a trellis or support net for vines to climb.
🌞 3️⃣ Care & Harvest:
Water once daily in the early morning or late afternoon.
Fertilize with organic compost or NPK 15-15-15 every 2–3 weeks to promote healthy growth and flowering.
Prune weak side shoots, keeping the main stem strong for climbing.
After about 8–9 months, the plant will begin to flower and bear fruit.
Harvest 70–80 days after fruit set – ripe yellow passion fruits have a bright golden color, glossy skin, and a sweet fragrance.
